kde with utf8 file names as root
 

i have slackware 10
i can view arabic file names in hard disk and cd rom and floppy with
iocharset=utf8 but in kde i can't view them as a root in cdrom and floppy only
but can view them as a normal user.

Maybe a font problem? Does the root user have the same fonts set as the normal user?
