Is this a good tutorial?
Hi!
I'm a technically challenged user, trying to set up Slackware (trying to learn some stuff and have a very stable desktop). What i was meaning to ask is: Is this a good tutorial? (because it's easier for me to memorise it via screenshots...) Thank you! http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/i...ackware_3.html |
It is a bit outdated, some screens have changed since December 15, 2006.
I would recommend reading Installation HOWTO included in the CD or DVD of the distribution, though it doesn't include screenshots. |
thank you! Will try.
I was just struggling to find something with screens, i'm more of a visual person, so i thought to go ahead and ask, since i've seen it's not for 13.37 :) Thanks for your help :) edit: btw, wahat's the font in the howto you posted. I printed it out and it looks fantastic. Very readable! |

Hi,
Welcome to LQ & Slackware! Quote:
Two good references SlackwareŽ Essentials & SlackwareŽ Basics. Another useful resource would be 'Slackware-Links'. More than just SlackwareŽ links! |
