Intel D875PBZ sata raid on Slack
I have an Intel D875PBZ mother board with support for sata hardware raid where I configured two 80GByte sata hard drives as RAID1 array.
And I would like Slackware Linux to support the raid array.
I have tried every Kernel found in the list [F3] of Slackware 11.
Results:
Most Kernels obviously do not recognize any hard drives.
The ones with sata and/or raid support only recognize both sata drives individually (directly /dev/sda and /dev/sdb) but not the raid array.
Is there a way to make the hardware sata raid work on slack, or should I switch to software raid?
