installed but no start
I just installed Slackware 14.2, full installation, everything.
I got no errors. At no time was I asked to set up a user name. I was asked to set up a root password. When I reboot, I end up with a flashing cursor on a blank screen. No log in screen, no elilo choose your system to boot screen. I am used to grub where I can choose which system to boot. On this hd there is nothing except Slack. I checked the hd.I put it in an external hd casing and looked at it in Ubuntu. It has a complete Linux installation. The home directory contains 1 folder called ftp How do I start Slack? How do I set up a user? |

Can you provide some details of your system? Are you using an HDD, SSD, NVMe, etc? Was the drive partitioned with MBR or GPT? Did you boot using UEFI or legacy? How old is the system? And anything else you think might be pertinent...
