Nope it won't, when using the replacement BIOS (Which is really just a bootloader in ROM form) for it, it will look for linuxboot.cfg on the CD which specifies what kernel to boot....

Now that sounds like something that's do-able, the only thing I need is to write a linuxboot.cfg file for the Slackware installation.
A typical one looks like this:
kernel boot/bzImage
append root=/dev/hda1 splash=silent kbd-reset video=xbox:640x480,nohwcursor devfs=mount acpi=hw
So what I'll need is just what parameters the iso bootloader passes along to the kernel. And if I need to set some special kernel configuration to be able to use it for the installation.
