Install on two drives

Hi, I have 256 SSD for OS and just got a 4tb spinning HD for media/games. Is it possible to put home directory on the HD-hdb(one partition, whole disk) during install, and keep other OS files and partitions on SSD-hda, or do I have to configure this after installation? If this is possible on installation, can you direct me to pages for instructions?
THANKS

yes. Linux allows you to partition your system tree up how ever you like it
just tell it what you want during install. or afterwords. if afterwords update your fstab to reflect same.
