Angry I can't boot slackware! LILO not work!

Helo!
during the slackware instalation, when I wanted to configure LILO I saw this error:
Sorry, but the attempt to install LILO has returned an error, so LILO has not been corectly instaled. You will have to use a bootdisk to start your mashine instead. It shud still be possible to get LILO working by editing the /etc/lilo.config and reinstall LILO.

And now I boot my computer with bootdisk, and when I want configure LILO I see this error message!

Sorry for my english

could you post what's in your lilo.conf? what other operating systems are on the computer? does it have one hard drive, or more than one?

change to:
other = /dev/hda1 (or wherever your dos partition is)
label = DOS
table = /dev/hda

then run lilo again as root:
$ su <enter>
$ <enter password>
# lilo

then try to boot again.
