How do u know which scsi.c driver is the rite one?


Hi all,

I wanna know how do u find ur scsi.c driver?

And also, when i install it my hdd is /dev/hde instead of /dev/sde?

/dev/hde might be your CDROM?

trial and error works fine, you will have to reboot a few times.
Or you can goto the kernels folder on your CD, browse to the folder of said kernel and search through the config file to see if you recognize a chipset or brand in there.
