Help install Slackware under Linux Mind Cinnamon 19

Hello,
wishing to leave windows, I install linux mint 19 cinnamon 64 bit about 1 month ago.
I discovered Slackware with Kiki Nowak's book. I try to install Slackware in virtualbox 5.2.10 32bits but nothing goes, from the beginning I have an error message.
I proceed in this way:
-I open virtualbox
I create the virtual machine: name> slackware
type> Linux
version> other 32-bit linux
size of the memory> 1024bio
file location and size: location> / home / gerard / virtual box VMs / slackware / slackware.vdi
I launch virtualbox to
At the command "boot" if I do input or huge.s + input I get this :
Unable to boot - please use a Kermel appropriate for your CPU.
can you tell me how to set virtual box.
thank you

Linux Mint is 64 bit only, unless you get a 32 bit version, in which case it's 32 bit only. Now that shouldn't matter in an ideal world, but in this one it probably does

How have you installed Virtualbox?
Code:
apt-get install <virtualbox>?
I would try a 64 bit slackware iso

Are you trying to boot 64bit Slackware in a 32bit VirtualBox? That is not going to work.

you might be better download an iso for it and load that, then install it as if it were on your hdd where you got to use cfdisk or cdisk in the setup procedure for slackware. that is to set up the VBox hdd you created for it. if memory serves me right, and not use a vdi file
