Hello, the only available option for "/" is /dev/sda6.
I took a photo with the Moto G5+: https://i.postimg.cc/384YYPGq/IMG-20220428-163924.jpg

You need to provide more information. How many drives? How have you got them partitioned? Are there other OS's installed on some of them? What do you think should be available to install the root partion on?
We can't see what you have done, you have to tell us what you think should be available. The down arrow and + sign indicate there may be more to display if you go down the list. |
Before you type 'setup' to enter the setup program, you could try 'fdisk -l' to list all the disks and partitions. Maybe you have some filesystem type that isn't recognized by the setup? Either way that will confirm what you have.
I dont know what else you have on the disk but you may need to set up some more partitions before running setup (e.g. swap, /root, /home). You can also do that with 'fdisk', though something like 'cfdisk' might be a little more user friendly. |
