What sage does the boot get to? Do you get a bootloader screen?

Have you checked to make sure the BIOS is set to boot from your hard drive?

it finishes loading and tells me to remove the cd and press ctrl+Alt+Del which i do. and the BIOS is set to boot from the hard drive

I am also having the same problem. I installed restarted and all I get is the BIOS then a blinking cursor. Nothing else.

Sounds to me like you guys may not have installed lilo to the MBR, or if you did, it failed. Did you make a boot disk? If not, boot to CD, and run pkgtool. Choose "Slackware installation scripts to run again" and then, make a bott floppy, and try to get in off of that. If that works, you need to re-install lilo to the MBR. If you do not, for whatever reason, want to install to the MBR, post your config here, and I probably (if not me, someone) have an answer.

I installed LILO to the superblock originally. Apparently that was what was wrong. Wouldn't of figured it out without your help. Thanks!
