Getting Slackware Loaded!

I just installed Slackware 10.1 on an old ex-98 computer.

It has 2 partitions, 1 for the swap drive, and the other just for Slackware.
I did what the 2 install CD's said. I did a full install of all programs.
Then I installed Lilo on a Floppy Disk.
I chose KDE as my interface.

Then at the end it said I could reboot my system and enter Slackware.
So I rebooted, and it read the floppy disk and showed me my options of Linux. So I typed in Linux and it began to boot.
It then went to some login name thing called darkstar I think.
What am I supposed to do. I thought when I typed in Linux, it would boot KDE. How to I get KDE to come on. I am completely new at this, your help will be appreciated.

startx or if that doesn't work, startkde

You may need to create a normal user, using the "adduser" command as root. You will also need to give your new user a password using the passwd command e.g. "passwd username". Once thats done, you can log out as root, and login as the normal user. Run "xwmconfig" and choose KDE and then do "startx" to get into the gui session.
