Color.gz too large for 1.44 floppy. Using RAWRITE (linux newbie)
Hello,
I am trying to install slackware on an older computer of mine in order to use it as a router/firewall. When I install it, I use the base bootdisk, but the color.gz rootdisk that is suggested by the slackware website is too large to burn to a 1.44MB floppy. I am using RAWRITEXP...the file is approx 2500Kb. Is there another way to do this? Am I using the wrong root file? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. --Josh |
Wrong root file. color.gz hasn't worked since Slackware 4 or 7.
If you are installing 9.1 you need install.1 and install.2. If you are installing 8.1 you need install.1 - install |
