Can Slackware be installed using a GPT partition on a macbook?
I have a macbook so it uses EFI and GPT I was wondering if there was anyway of installing slackware without BIOS. That is, outside of the 4 MBR entries and only listed on the GPT.
I was wondering because I'm already using the 4 partitions that MBR allows and it would be easier if I could just use a GPT partition. |
Support for GPT was recently added to the installer in Slackware-current.
For Slackware-13.1, the stable release, you need to do some things manually. This thread may be of use. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...13-1-a-811426/ |
