I checked the build log and the patch has definitely been applied. Running xscreensaver on my -current machine presents the start up banner and subsequently the configuration screen. Locking the screen behaves as expected - there are no nag screens. md5sum $(which xscreensaver) 50a63ca6bae08f17f52e0ea30e54ec1e /usr/bin/xscreensaver Is this the same version that you have? |

It appears I rsync'd 14.1 after checking .bash_history... so much for paying attention. After rsync completed I looked at the changelog and last entry was 8 Sep 2014 which was what I see when I look at the changelog for current online at slackware.com. Silly me.... I just downloaded xscreensaver from the real current, did an upgradepkg, md5sum matched yours above, then logged into an xfce session via ssh and indeed there was no nag screen either when xfce started up nor after I killed xscreensaver and started it up manually. |
