Vulkan V3D on the Raspberry Pi 4

Very recently I read about the Vulkan V3D API being tested on the Raspberry Pi OS and instantly set about building, installing, and configuring it under Slackware ARM (current). All I can say is "ZOMG! WOW! " The results were awesome and stunning! If this is any indication towards the way ARM graphics are heading then the future is going to be very bright indeed.

Here's a few screenshots - NB: it has to be noted that most of them DO NOT do these rendering examples justice! These tests were carried out using Xfce running on a Raspberry Pi 4 [4GB] with 'gpu_ram=128' setting.

I want to try and grab a video of the desktop so that the effects of these 3-D samples can be seen in their full glory.

Slackware ARM current on a Raspberry Pi 4 [4GB] - Xfce - Vulkan V3D demo videos : https://imgur.com/a/Ndgp5Rg

Thanks to Patrick for including ssr (simplescreenrecorder) in the Slackware source-tree - and then thanks to MoZes for including it in Slackware ARM - these Vulkan V3D demo videos have been made possible.

One thing to note: there is a noticeable drop in FPS on the RPi4 while the screen recording software is active. Those demos which are animated are much smoother and less jerky without the recording software running at the same time.
