Very recently I read about the
Vulkan V3D API being tested on the Raspberry Pi OS and instantly set about building, installing, and configuring it under Slackware ARM (current). All I can say is "
ZOMG! WOW! " The results were awesome and stunning! If this is any indication towards the way ARM graphics are heading then the future is going to be very bright indeed.
Here's a few screenshots - NB: it has to be noted that most of them
DO NOT do these rendering examples justice! These tests were carried out using Xfce running on a Raspberry Pi 4 [4GB] with 'gpu_ram=128' setting.

I want to try and grab a video of the desktop so that the effects of these 3-D samples can be seen in their full glory.
