slarm64 no wifi
 

I am not sure what I am missing. I installed Slarm64 on my Rpi3. For some reason the wifi adapter is not being found.

give the output of the following commands:
lsmod | grep brcmfmac
rfkill list
sudo dmesg | grep -i wifi

slarm64 no wifi
 

nothing for all 3.

If I do insmod on the brcmfmac I get this.

while you can see that your kernel is either not configured correctly or there is no firmware for the chip wifi.

for my sarpi rpi3 install

sndwvs said 'attach', you can use Manage Attachments to attach the log when you post a reply

find: ‘/lib/modules/’: No such file or directory

I tried to attach but it didn't work for some reason. So I pasted it inside the message. I do not have a modules dir in /lib for some reason. I did a full install yes.

*Edit*
I copied everything manually from the kernel and sarpi packages to the place they belonged. Don't know why those packages wasn't installing. I'll see if that fixes the problem.

Now I am able to manually modprobe brcmfmac but no device shows up in ifconfig or iwconfig. It loades the module but doesn't show the device.

Do not forget to copy the firmware, and again, where is the log dmesg

I installed them all. Ok finally able to attach the dmesg log instead of posting it in a reply.
