Does this:
Quote:

mean there should be an FDT @ offset 01f00000 of the image?
Because in that case it seems to be missing:

yes, I yesterday that at reboot there is an error

the first launch is divided into 2 stages
1 stretches the FS and reboots the system
2 creates a swap and starts the system in normal mode

you can replace the current kernel with kernel-rk3288-4.4.119-arm-1mara.txz

in the debug console there is no login, you can evade the informative value by changing the parameter verbosity = 1 to 8 in the /boot/uEnv.txt file.

on the image
check the downloaded image:
md5sum -c slack-current-arm-miniroot_22May18-4.4.132-firefly_rk3288-build-20180604.img.tar.xz.md5
extract:
tar xf slack-current-arm-miniroot_22May18-4.4.132-firefly_rk3288-build-20180604.img.tar.xz

fdisk -l slack-current-arm-miniroot_22May18-4.4.132-firefly_rk3288-build-20180604.img
will output:

I'll check the day after tomorrow. I took a day off tomorrow to enjoy the nice weather here in the Netherlands.

Ok, I've tested it, got a lot more output but still no login prompt.
There's too much output to paste it all in one post so I'll limit it to the most important bits:
8 times this line:

Nothing more happens after that. Hitting the enter key will not even add a blank line on the terminal window.

I want to note that aside from the kernel, I also updated the modules, firmware and kernel headers with the same versions.

yes errors are present and above I wrote that on console debug there is no login
the input can be made by connecting the monitor(hdmi/vga) and keyboard to the board (I connect via the DVI->HDMI adapter)

Where did you write there should be no login on the debug console?
According to /etc/inittab of the rootfs there should be a login prompt on the serial port.

I connected the board to an HDMI monitor but got only a black screen and another monitor (one with VGA input) did not detect a signal on the VGA connector.

for login on the console serial debug
change the /etc/inittab line
s2:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -L ttyFIQ0 115200 vt100
on ttyS2

Okay then, I got login prompt and logged in with the latest image!
I would like to install on the emmc but I's like to partition it beforehand and I'm not sure whether using "fdisk" on it would be safe, since it might overwrite addres 0x40 with the idbloader.
Do you have any ideas on that?

P.S. Like the ascii art on login.

thank you

for the transfer there is a setup script,
but if you want to break up in a particular way when using fdisk, simply specify Start 32768

I programmed the eMMMC with your setup program yesterday, but I had to do some rewrites to it as it does not seem to work well on a serial terminal.
The setup script also seems incapable of handling pre-partioned devices. I'll have to re-partition later, after shrinking the rootfs.
Shall I mail you patches of the fixes I've made when I have time?

yes, I would like to understand that this is not working, my testing showed a successful transfer of the system to the eMMC
