Slackware ARM on a Raspberry Pi kernel-headers 5.4.x pkg
A SARPi kernel-headers pkg is now available. All SARPi batches will include a kernel-header-sarpi*.txz pkg from now on. Linux kernel source already includes these headers but, for whatever purpose you may have for this pkg, it'll be there if you need it.
Download from the usual place: https://sarpi.fatdog.eu/?p=downloads

SARPi64 kernel 5.4.69 [Raspberry Pi 4] updates now feature the kernel-header-sarpi64*.txz pkg - same as SARPi. I suspect this will be very useful in times to come.
Download all the SARPi64 shizzle from here: https://sarpi64.fatdog.eu/index.php?p=rpi4getcurk5

Updated SlackwareARM and SARPi -current packages today on RPi4, this time replacing the SlackwareARM's kernel-header with SARPi's.
Everything I've checked is working fine.
Thanks again Exaga for the SARPi packages, and as always drmozes for SlackwareARM, and Pat & the team for Slackware.

Except for not picking up the time on startup.
/etc/rc.d/rc.local has
Code:
sleep 5 ; sntp -sS 0.pool.ntp.org > /dev/null 2>&1
Which worked before the update. Tried a 30 sec sleep timer with same result.
I'll look into it when I can, but not urgent so I'll get to it when I get to it.

Thanks TKS. I'd appreciate you keeping me apprised on this issue if you would please. I have absolutely no issues with using sntp on startup but then I have a RPi3B+ working as a NTP server on my network and I don't set any sleep timers in rc.local. That being the case, while I was using my ISP and ntp.org servers for the same purpose in years gone by I had no problems there either. Really am interested to find out what's causing this problem for you.

Resolved.
In /etc/rc.d, I kept my previous file that I had renamed to rc.local.orig alongside my newest rc.local, but for some reason rc.local.orig was executable and rc.local wasn't.
I have no idea how that happened, but I changed local to executable and orig to not, and it's sorted out now.

Edit: “I have no idea how that happened” wasn’t intentionally tongue in cheek, it was written in the sense of “I could have sworn I had set my new rc.local executable and rc.local.orig non-executable”. Clearly I didn’t do what I thought I had - wasn’t intending to imply that something in an update caused this, but clarifying in case that comment might read that way.
