Slackware ARM-current : 'Big Merge' XFCE/KDE5
I had meant to post this last week.
The KDE5 and XFCE + all of the other updates from 'big merge' are available, and the next batch of updates will be pushed in the next week or so. Have fun! |
I held my breath, but my headless rpi 3B rebooted without a hickup! I only needed to recompile mpd to be up and running.
Cheers! |

Plasma 5  I've become more aware of just how much time and effort you personally put into maintaining Slackware ARM, via the official Slackware ARM YouTube Channel, and I'm even more in awe than I previously was. Absolutely superfandicious and brilliantly done work indeed! :hattip: Looking forward to more Slackware ARM related videos. |
Thank you, drmozes! The big xfce & kde merge and kernel upgrade (5.10.4 to 5.10.7) went smoothly on my SlackwareARM -current on RPi4 with Sarpi kernel, boot-firmware and hacks packages.
I use Xfce. I only had to make one minor change to appearance. I will put a few notes on the kernel upgrade here in a few minutes: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...-a-4175687478/ TKS |
