OpenSSH change the config again?

I did my usual Slackpkg update / Slackpkg upgrade-all and can't log in again.

Now I'm getting

Code:
 ssh_exchange_identification: read: Connection reset by peer
The OpenSSH guys need to quit changing things.

Might be a quick fix:
Code:
$ cat ~/.ssh/config
Host *
	PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes ssh-dss,ssh-rsa

Now I'll have to yank power to my server again. The annoying part is I kept the old config file to be safe but since SSH is interpreting it differently it still burns me.

So it looks like the config didn't change, rather slackpkg replaced the config files even though I told it to keep the old. The sd card is fsck'ing now from where I had to down it.

Back in the day when we used serial consoles, I seem to remember that deamon started real early so you could still get in, does that still work and could I use USB to serial to connect one Pi to another and console in if/when I can't over the network?
