BTW ... for that kind of price you can get HP Microserver that has 4 SATA slide in bays, it's not as neat as the ZBOX but it's also an intresting alternative.
These are the reasons that are holding me back from using it :
  • single etnernet NIC
  • onboard controller supports RAID 0/1/10 but unsure if it supports JBOD to allow for software RAID 5
  • it's rated @ around 60W in minimum configuration
