how to send an email from an linux arm

Hello everyone,

I installed busybox-v1.27.1, which has the sendmail binary in my version of linux arm. Now I want to use this sendmail binary to send some emails, but I can not do this because I think it's not set up correctly or the versioned sendmail of the busybox depends on a few more packages or both.
1. Can someone tell you how to configure sendmail and what other packages from busybox-v1.27.1 or off I have to install along with sendmail. 2.You can suggest any standalone software or software that can send mail (which has no dependency) or a set of packages that supports sending mail via the command line. I do not care about the size of the package, but to solve addiction is a tricky thing to do because I do not have enough experience.
3. If sendmail works, for which server I need to send emails, it is either (for example) smtp.gmail.com (in the case of gmail) directly or to my isp.

Thank you ..

Hi

This is not specifically ARM or Slackware related - you'd be better off posting to the general LQ forum.

Hi all,
I use mail (mailx) and scripts when I need to send e-mails from my boxes, in response to events. It's easy to use and part of a stock Slackware installation.

Bye
