-current, often got [make] <defunct> when compiling with -j option
Hi,
I noticed I got [make] <defunct> when compiling with -j2 and more, on two different machines with different CPUs. I tested only with kernel compilations. It happens all the time. I don't know how to debug this. |
Hi, could you try to build and install this patched version of the make package?
https://gitlab.com/idlemoor/unoffici...ee/master/make (I've been wondering whether this is worth sending to Patrick...) Edit: The upstream bug reports corresponding to these patches are: https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49014 https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51159 https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51400 |
Yup, pselect is also mentioned there:

Fixed upstream.
