Cannot get past "The Slackware Installer is ready"

Hi!

Please see the video which will show you what's going on from power up to stop. There's Ethernet connected and the router is assigning an IP address. The keyboard is not working, I've tried with two different ones.
And I'm using a USB hub. The keyboard has been connected directly to the pi.

It's a RPI 3 B

This looks like a configuration issue - init should start a shell on tty1 and provide a message like 'Press enter to activate this console'.
This should be presented regardless of the presence of a keyboard.

If you press alt+right arrow key on the keyboard, does it work?

Solution

Exaga at #armedslack on libera chat told me to press ALT+F2 and that got me past and to the keyboard setup and prompt.

Cool. That's the same as using alt+arrow keys.
Presumably it's still installing presently given your prompt reply.
Once it completes, instead of rebooting can you drop to a shell and please type : tty

It's probably going to report 'tty2'. I'll see if I can fix that for the Rpi3 within the installer. It works fine on the RPi4 though.

Indeed it was a configuration issue. I've fixed it for the next build. Thanks for the report.
