Arduino IDE on RPi4 SlackwareARM -current using modified Slackbuild

That went well, I'm quite pleased.

I installed the Arduino IDE ver 1.8.10 on RPi4 on SlackwareARM -current, and it seems to be working fine.

1. Installed Sarpi's jdk-8u221 (thanks Exaga)

2. Modified the arduino Slackbuild files arduino.info [ver 1.8.3 => 1.8.10] and arduino.SlackBuild [ver update and added arm architecture] (thanks Mario Preksavec for the arduino Slackbuild)

Followup: didn’t modify the libtinfo/libncurses section of arduino.Slackbuild, need to check if a symlink to a newer lib should be added somewhere

The Slackbuild symlinks /opt/arduino/hardware/tools/avr/lib/libtinfo.so.5 to /lib/libncurses.so.5 (for 32 bit; /lib64/... if 64 bit.)

In -current, libtinfo has been split from libncurses, so I disabled the symlink
/opt/arduino/hardware/tools/avr/lib/libtinfo.so.5 to /lib/libncurses.so.5
and generated a new symlink
/opt/arduino/hardware/tools/avr/lib/libtinfo.so.5 to /lib/libtinfo.so.6

With that said, I still should check what libtinfo/libncurses is used for. The arduino IDE did everything I needed it for before generating the new symlink, so not sure if this symlink step mattered to me. TBD.

Also: jdk updated on Sarpi's site, and now on my RPi, to jdk-8u241

Thanks for sharing TheTKS. After reading a little more into Arduino IDE this morning, now I understand why jdk is needed. Good work.
