YouTube videos are playing in black and white

I noticed today that YouTube videos are playing in black and white.
If I clear private data before playing a video, it will play in color, but then after I refresh the page it's black and white again.

I'm using Slackware-Current and Intel 945GME graphics.
This only seems to happen on YouTube; flash videos from other sites all play in color.

I didn't have this problem before, and there have been no updates since it last worked. Also this happens in all browsers.

I've tried reinstalling my browsers, reinstalling flash player, and deleting some of the hidden directories in my home folder (.adobe, .macromedia, .mozilla, .config/google-chrome, .cache/google-chrome), but have had no luck.

Any ideas?

I had a problem yesterday with a red overlay on YouTube videos. Apparently something to do with Google introducing 3D. What fixed it for me was going to another site with flash content (I chose Nvidia) and right-clicking on the flash media. Select Settings and disable Hardware Acceleration. Restart browser.

Thanks, that seems to have fixed my problem too.

Hmmm..... my youtube videos are also in black and white but I cannot access the settings for disabling hardware acceleration, they are greyed out on every Flash site I have visited. Anybody else stuck this way?

Edit: Finally found a site that allowed me to access the settings and solve the problem. Does Flash suck or what?

Same problem here (also with an intel 945GM video card), videos on youtube are playing in black and white and then my screen corrupts and I have to reboot.

I'll try the workaround posted above, intel video drivers and flash player issues are daily bread
