Question xvidtune:"video modes are not tunable on this chip" (¿?)

hello, what's in the subjet is the output I get trying to run xvidtune.. but the fact is I used to tweak such settings before, and I didn't changed the hardware at all .. the only thing changed since the last time I used xvidtune is the slack distro: from 10.1 to 10.2 (vmlinuz-generic-2.6.13).
Does anybody figure out why I'm getting this output unabling me to use xvidtune under 10.2?
thanks in advance,

Probably you're using a generic driver like vesa, search for the appropiate Driver for your card.

yeps, you're right: just changing "vesa" to "sis"(my videocard) in the xorg.conf's video driver section has solved the issue.
thanx-a-lot
