Question xterm and slackware 12.2 issues

Has anyone noticed that the "-rightbar" or "-leftbar" arguments of xterm are not working? For example, I like to run xterm as this "xterm -bg black -fg white -rightbar". I haven't tried update xterm to current yet. Before I do, I was wondering if anyone else had noticed.

I feel like a dork!!! I completely forgot about the -sb option. I used to do it a long time ago, but then I got used to using Red Hat which doesn't require that option to make the -rightbar to work. Thanks again!
