xset

Since I am playing with a different DE, (Fluxbox) I have noticed the screen goes blank after a few minutes. I quickly figured out how to stop this with:

Code:
xset s noblank
That works, but if I exit and restart Fluxbox, I must reapply that command. So, how do I get the settings for xset to be stored?

I don't know anything about Fluxbox, but if you add that command to your .bashrc file, it will be executed every time you log in.

Yea, but you'd have to open a terminal after starting X for that to take effect. Don't think xset will work from init3 right after you boot. Your .Xsession or .xinitrc would be a more likely place for it.

Yea, I have the xset command in my .xinitrc, so no problems there.
