xsane fails as non-root

Hi all,

I've been using xsane fine with my Brother MFC-7420. For some reason today it fails to load up with the error "Failed to open device 'brother2:bus1;dev1': Error during device I/O". This was working fine last week, and if I run xsane as root, it loads fine. I am a member of the scanners group.

Any ideas?

Brian

OK, I fixed it. For some reason "none /proc/bus/usb usbfs auto,devmode=0666 0 0" was no longer in my fstab.
