Are you sure? I can go into my BIOS and boot to the second disk. I used to do this with the FreeBSD boot loader to give the option of booting to Debian, FreeBSD, or Windows. Actually the FreeBSD boot loader is still there, but the bootloader locks up (Debian and FreeBSD have been overwritten).

If I can't use Lilo, could I use some other boot loader?

By the way, I'd like to thank everyone for all the help.

Well if you can do it in your BIOS then that's different. My BIOS only boots to the Primary Master disk. Did you install lilo to the MBR of your second disk in export mode? WHat happens when you try and boot to it? DO you get the lilo screen and then nothing happens, or does it never get there?
