I agree, IF IT DOESN'T WORK. In my case, the Nvidia xorg works fine.

i'm just wondering about this.. if we delete the lines that configure the mouse and the keyboard configs what will handle the configurations for the mouse and keyboard?

Hal does that, just like it does when no xorg.conf is present. Anything in the conf file is simply an override to hal's information.
