I use a Slackware Current installation with 2.6.15. During a recent update, Xorg was upgraded from Xorg 6.7 to 6.9. After which my graphics no longer works. This is the card section from my xorg.conf
I don't know. My xorg.conf is auto-altered by nvidia's driver every time I install a new driver (so, every time I actually install a new kernel, i re-install the driver), and as far as I see it commented out the vendorname and boardname options. So nowdays it just looks like this:
First, I would have a look at http://ftp.x.org/pub/X11R6.9.0/doc/html/via.4.html . I don't see a "NoDDCValue:, so that is either not specific to the driver, or deprecated. Does getting rid of it work?
