Xorg 7.4 support in current?

this is a question for Slack devs, I know they lurk around here :

is there any plan for Xorg 7.4 support in current sooner than later?

I am certain there is a plan. But few people know how long it will take to accomplish it.
Recent history shows that it takes about 1 month since the release to get new xorg versions in -current
