Xorg 7.3, evdev, and mouse

Does anyone know how to properly configure mice in Xorg 7.3? I just upgraded to 12.1 from 12.0 and I'm having trouble getting my mouse to work properly. The mouse is the MX1000 which came with the MX5000 desktop (bluetooth). It worked fine in 12.0, but I've been reading that the new evdev has changed things around.

Here's the relevant sections of xorg.conf

Code:
Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier "MX1000"
        Driver "evdev"
        Option "Device" "/dev/input/by-path/pci-0000\:00\:13.1-usb-0\:2.3\:1.0-event-mouse"
# Option "Device" "/dev/input/event7"
# Option "Device" "usb-Logitech_Logitech_BT_Mini-Receiver_00076143021C-event-mouse"
# Option "Name" "Logitech BT Mini-Receiver"
       Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
"Option Name" worked in 12.0, but no longer works in 12.1. Also, event7 gives me all my buttons, but the mouse only moves up and down. The by-path (also tried by-id) works with movement, but doesn't give me all the buttons.

I've also tried putting AutoAddDevices "false" into my ServerFlags, but didn't work.
