xorg-1.6.2 regression for radeon card

After upgraded to recent xorg(1.6.2) along other xorg updates, I found some regressions for my radeon card:

1) When I try to resize smplayer, X will crash. No matter in KDE or fluxbox. So I think it's no desktop effect related. At the wost case, X crashed when I launch smplayer...
2) X crashes for no reason once I'm typing in opera...
3) After crashing, console terminal(Alt+Ctl+F{1,6}) get garbled.

downgrade mesa and ati driver does not help... My card is Radeon Xpress 200M

Same here with Intel

00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

X crashes when I try to move some window.

Works fine with the default VESA xorg.conf
