Code:
skalkoto@darkstar:/tmp/package-xmame/usr/bin$ du -sh xmame.x11
42M xmame.x11
skalkoto@darkstar:/tmp/package-xmame/usr/bin$ file xmame.x11
xmame.x11: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
skalkoto@darkstar:/tmp/package-xmame/usr/bin$
That's because it's just a monolithic program. An executable without any libraries.....

I found a complete set of SlackBuild script and everything else needed, to build the xmame-0.102 at http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/ocsid/tru.../xmame/?rev=61 , you could try this yourself perhaps. Don't know in what timeframe I can produce something useful since I try this in spare time.
