Xine question

I am using xine and I enabled eq2 by right clicking on the main window, choosing Video->Postprocess->Chain reaction and addiing eq2 to the list but it does not hold after I do a restart of xine or if I try to play another vid.

Any ideas to get it to keep the cofiguration?

thanks.

Hi

I guess that you don't have write priveledges to xine's conf file. Try running xine as root setting the configuration, then re-running xine as a user and see if the variable is set.

I gave that a try but did now work. I am looking for a different player that allow you to change the graphics settings.
Any ideas on one that works with KDE?

Not sure if it does what you want, but I like Kaffeine.

I just downloaded slack tgz of kaffeine and it seems pretty cool but could not get a current version to compile from source, too many errors.

Ill just use the old version for now.

Thanks.
