Xine-Check Produces Errors


Xine is running horribly on Slackware 10,2. gkrellm reports 90 percent CPU while playing movies.

xine-check gives:

I spent about two hours editing the xorg.conf file, as well as, making sure I got the install done properly.

Yet Xine takes 100 percent of CPU. I have XP 3200 512 DDR and WD SE. DMA is enabled for all drives...

XINE still gives the XVideo and YV12 errors. I read the DRI article, however, nothing has helped.

My Videocard is a Radeon 9500 running at 9700.

It looks like you are running xine as root. If true, wrong!

I didn't do anything in xorg to make it run.

It does use a lot of cpu. So what?

I suggest recompiling the Xine. Maybe it would help.
