XFree86

My video is Radeon IGP 340M and it is officially supported in the XFree86 4.4 Release. My question is:Where can I find the slackware 9.1 package for this XFree86 or some other solution for my video card ?

Thanks in advance

There is no 'official' X 4.4 version for Slackware yet. There may never be either because if the new license agrrement (copyright) that the XFree86 group has instituted. Better to stick with X 4.3 for now.

Im not on my slackbox right now so I can be sure, but I run dropline gnome, and in a recent update I believe it downloaded and installed version 4.4 of xfree86. So there are definitely packages out there for it. Go over to the forums @ dropline and ask around. Good luck.

I've built a Slackpackage of Xfree 4.4 from CVS along with Fontconfig 2.2.92 and Freetype 2.1.7 (Bytecode Interpreter enabled).

I can upload it if you have some FTP space (~70mb).
