Xfce4 volume adjust icon isn't in notification area
Hello, i've recently switched over from Kde, to Xfce4. I've used Xfce4 before and i know it's supposed to have a volume adjust icon, (i think) in the notification area, but it's not in mine.
I'm running, default Xfce 4.10 on Slackware 14.1
There is the 'mixer' applet, but it's not what i'm talking about.
xfce-volumed is installed, and it's set to autostart in Session and Startup.
Distribution: Slackware64-current with "True Multilib" and KDE4Town.

In the years I've been using Xfce I've only been able to control the volume with a combination of the xfce-volume-damon (in sessions and startup) and the mixer plug-in for the panel. IIRC, volumed allows you to control volume with the keyboard multimedia keys.
Xfce doesn't remember the volume settings and starts the volume at full blast, but since I keep GKrellm running in corner of the screen, adding the GKrellm volume plug-in prevents that from happening.
