There is a bug report about this already
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15813
Link to the explanation on how to configure alpha now
https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-pan...nsparent-panel

When you click on the plus sign button, it always shows the red color,
if you want to configure alpha to a particular color, right click on that color and
will appear a tip, click on it and the color pick will open with that color selected.
too much complicated, I prefer the old way with a color pick window and the alpha slider.
FWIW,
I had mixed results with the above method, but just the other day stumbled upon the perfect solution (IMHO).
Most of what you will find at the link below is the same as what board member Paulo2 was kind enough to outline in his post quoted above, but if you scroll down to the box containing the comments made by Andre Galastri, you'll find instructions on how to create a transparent .png background image for the Xfce-4.14 panel.

This is the GTK 3 color chooser. You will see the same behavior in all programs that use the GTK 3 color chooser.

Ironically, the goal seems to have been to make the color chooser less confusing by not showing the palette and picker/sliders in the same window.

If to add mousepad, then it would be logical to add ristretto as well (image viewer). I don't believe it will happen.

I used both to compare them back in the day for a while, and compared to Geequie i can't see Ristretto adding any value.

Dear all,

I am using the packages from Mr. Workman, after the last update external USB drivers aren't mounting automatically.
Does anyone also have this issue?

Thanks

Do you mean thunar-volman? Did you look at logs in /var/log/{messages,syslog,dmesg}? Are there some messages related to usb drives after inserting?

The USB drive has detected by the kernel, and I was able to mount it using the mount command in a terminal.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I thought some Xfce users might be interested in this.

This is a fork that removes call-to-action from top of dialog to... the bottom? Am I missing something?

This is a big deal.

Dialog boxes customarily place the buttons at the bottom because people read from top to bottom. After reading, the user clicks on the appropriate button at the bottom.

Putting the buttons on the top makes the dialog box harder to use.
