xfce error:a crash ocoured in the panel

I just fixed the proble wiht i810 video card,and run startx, the xfce is error:a crash ocoured in the panel,please report this error to ........meanwhile the panel will restart!
What does this means,I am the first run the X !

yep, I had this problem too. I had to upgrade to a newer version of xfce to fix it. You can use Swaret to do this easily enough.

I have that issue before too. I'm using xfce 4.0.5 right now, the problem why it give you that error panel is cause you don't have gnome installed it. remember xfce is GTK base, this error should be fixed only if you download the file startup-notification, swaret it or go to slack site and in packages search for it, installed it and voila xfce will begin to work
