XFCE 4.16 in Slackware Current

Hello

Does everyone experience these problems upon using XFCE 4.16 on Slackware Current?

1. Icon artifacts on xfce-panel systray. See https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/-/issues/496

2. Thunar crashing when called from Dbus when a file is open directly on desktop. See https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=15006

I experienced these problems on Slackware Current. Someone reported these problems on xfce devs however they unable to produce such problem.

About 2: You mean you have a file on the desktop, you open thunar and open the file ?
If yes I have no problem doing that here.

Hi mistfire!

I run slackware64-current installed from alienbob's live iso and also under lighthousepup and haven't had any problems but the xsession-error log has reported problems such as

Code:

Negative content width -3 (allocation 1, extents 2x2) while allocating gadget

Not sure what that means.
