xf86config not working

Absolutely brand new to Linux, yesterday in fact so please bear with me.
Done the install etc all gone smooth, followed an install guide on LinuxGuides.net. I installed Slackware 10.1 from linuxiso. Anyway my prob at mo is at the root@---- prompt I type xf86config and get command not found. Everywhere I've looked seems this is the command to configure hardware. What should it be, what have I done wrong?? Help please.

Cheers Edd

the how-to's are a bit outdated. I edit mine by hand so I'm not entirely sure but try xorgconfig

Sorry can't have done a thorough enough search for this prob. Found answer within an older post on same prob. Should be xorgconfig. Thanks
Thanks justanothersteve

captain chaos, you might wanna check out the Slackware Linux Essentials book if you haven't already. It'll help you to find your way around Slack .
