x stopped working

I am running an (almost fresh) copy of Slackware 10.2.
Things were working well and suddenly, X just wasn't working on bootup.
I haven't done anything to it since I installed ATI drivers and it was starting after that.
I tried startx and I got this output:

According to this it looks like kde is busted. There is a seg-fault error with kwrapper and ksmserver.
I would try reinstalling kde and reconfiguring it to make sure.
If this happened out of the blue you should also consider checking the hard drive for errors.
