happy,
if you're using slackware-current, how come you installed the dri ?
you should along with the thread here in the slackware forums be able to get 3d rendering aka DRI to play games.

hello
i followed that one, the thread you are saying, and i was able to make it work but warcraft wont, and i read from another forum that they just installed the dri module for intel from freedesktop.org, so i followed the instructions and that's it, i could play warcraft but wont let me play in fullscreen and the mouse cursor always leave the screen when not in fullscreen and that's kind of annoying, so i guess, i have to play it using arrow keys to navigate the map, tsk tsk...

what resolution are you switching to when it crahes ? What is the native res on your laptop ? you may need to patch the video driver in order to use the native res.. I need to to get 1280x800 @ 24 bit.
Did the res you are switching to when it crashes work before installing DRI?

i was trying to change the resolution to 1024x768, and i could not understand why my resolution wont change to 800x600 eventhough it is the only res written to my xorg.config,
yes it worked before, i mean changing the resolution from 1280x800 to 1024x768 and 800x600 without the dri module i just installed recently, thanks sir.
