X server and TVcard support

Guyz i have slack9.1 and am trying to access my bt878 tv capture card using Xawtv.

However i get the following errors:
- "your X-server has no DGA support"
-"Xfree86-DRI is missing on display :0.0"

This has forced me to run "v4l-conf -a 0xf0000000" manually as v4l-conf is not detecting the address of my card which it would have picked from DGA.

I also have RH9 and Xawtv runs smoothly.

Are these additional modules i need to install?

Secondly, i tried tvtime but it can't also run giving the following error!

- your display has no YUY2 images support?

Where do i get this support?
