X is now F12 instead of F11 after April 19 upgrade

I specify 10 virtual terminals in /etc/inittab. That meant that F11 switched to my X terminal. After today's upgrade F12 switches to X. inittab hasn't changed, there's no 11th virtual terminal: F11 takes me to an unresponsive black screen.
I discovered this when I accidentally hit F12

I don't mind, I'm just curious to know if this affects others and if there's a reason in the upgrade.

Dear RandomTroll,

Yes, there is some abnormality with X
We are running Slack32, Slack64 14.2, and are testing Slack 64 current.

The following type of command are used to connect to other hosts on the local net:

xterm +hold -e /usr/bin/X -query ipv6-myhost :1 -auth "$HOME/.Xauthority" (ipv6 connection)

it runs OK from 14.2 to 14.2, but not from current to 14.2, this gives a black screen,

however

xterm +hold -e /usr/bin/X -query myhost :1 -from myhost -auth "$HOME/.Xauthority"

runs from current to 14.2, but only ipv4 and with "-from myhost", not -from ipv6-myhost".
Without "-from" things go into the blue. Myhost or ipv6-Myhost is defined in the /etc/hosts file.

So it looks like that X does have a difficulty with ipv6, and even if you specify ipv6 you a get ipv4 connects,

so some work to do!

My problem, Alt-F12 to get to X instead of Alt-F11, has gone away, perhaps after a reboot.
